19th International Congress of the Asian Society Against Dementia 2025
Representatives from the Dementia Society of the Philippines (DSP) actively participated in the 19th International Congress of the Asian Society Against Dementia (ASAD) and the International Conference of the Korean Dementia Association (IC-KDA) 2025, held from May 8 to 10 at the Lotte Hotel World in Seoul, South Korea. The conference, themed “Breaking Barriers of Dementia: From Research to Real-world Practice,” served as a vital platform for sharing innovative research, clinical practices, and interdisciplinary approaches in dementia care.
The IC-KDA & ASAD 2025 conference aimed to address the challenges posed by dementia through collective efforts in research and practice. It provided attendees with opportunities to share insights, discuss advancements, and foster collaborations to improve dementia care across Asia and beyond.
A significant highlight of the event was the ceremonial turnover of the ASAD flag from IC-KDA2025 & ASAD 2025 to DSP, symbolizing the Philippines’ role as the host for ASAD 2026.
